The Role of Senior Data Analyst, User Research

Tamara is seeking a Senior Data Analyst, User Research to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is positioned at the intersection of behavioural data and user research, contributing to an expanding research function that is central to all verticals within the company. The next phase involves bringing quantitative research, market research, and cultural research fully in-house to enable comprehensive, decision-ready insights. The successful candidate will collaborate with qualitative researchers to integrate quantitative rigor into understanding customer journeys and product usage, developing analytical solutions, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business impact by identifying key opportunities for growth and delivering actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that provide accurate and actionable insights for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to address the data enrichment requirements of the product team.
• Engage with stakeholders across the business to prioritize projects based on potential impact and ensure their timely delivery.
• Establish a systematic process to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets, thereby enabling informed decision-making.
• Uphold data governance standards and promote sound analytical practices throughout all processes.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a proven track record in developing analytical solutions and contributing to data-driven decision-making. Experience in managing stakeholders across diverse functions is also essential. While a background in a related field is preferred, graduates from other disciplines with pertinent knowledge and experience are encouraged to apply. A strong understanding of a domain of interest, such as Finance, Risk, or Product, is required. Experience gained within a high-growth startup or unicorn environment is considered advantageous.
