About Sifi and the Role

Sifi operates as a B2B spend management platform, regulated by SAMA. The company emphasizes data-driven decision-making and rapid execution. This full-time Data Analyst role is central to the organization's analytical capabilities, focusing on establishing robust reporting structures and ensuring data integrity.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for developing the foundational reporting layer used across the business and for investigating data discrepancies to maintain accuracy. This position involves owning critical business dashboards and translating complex, ambiguous questions into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards covering spend, card operations, support, and Go-to-Market (GTM) functions. This includes managing definitions, data quality, and refresh reliability end-to-end.
• Write SQL queries directly against the core banking database and other production data sources.
• Conduct in-depth analyses on demand for areas such as decline code patterns, cohort behavior, funnel drop-offs, campaign performance, and anomalies identified by operations.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable business decisions, providing clear recommendations with an articulated confidence level.
• Define and document key metrics to ensure consistent understanding and usage across all teams.
• Support regulatory and internal reporting requirements where analytical input is necessary.
• Automate repetitive data tasks, such as building automated processes for frequently requested data extracts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong SQL skills: Demonstrated ability to write and debug complex joins, window functions, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs) against large transactional schemas independently.
• BI Tool Experience: Proven experience in building dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in Python or R for conducting data analysis that extends beyond the capabilities of SQL.
• Problem Scoping: Ability to define and scope vague business questions into answerable analytical problems, and to clearly communicate when data limitations prevent a definitive answer.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Comfort and effectiveness in working directly with operations, product, and commercial stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Background in Fintech, payments, or banking sectors.
• Familiarity with card transaction data, authorization flows, or scheme reporting.
• Exposure to Saudi Arabian (KSA) financial services and SAMA reporting requirements.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n or Airflow.
