Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy services to unlock potential in projects and redefine ambition. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting a significant new build airport project.

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will contribute to a large-scale new build airport project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This project is designed to set a global benchmark for aviation experience and aims to attract 120 million passengers by 2030. This full-time position involves ensuring stringent quality standards and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed comparisons of Request for Proposal (RFP) versus final contract technical specifications versus Purchase Order (PO) content, including inspection level requirements versus contract scope.
  • Validate the inclusion of Non-Conformance Report (NCR) reporting timelines (48-hour response, 7-day corrective plan, 14-day closure), escalation and on-hold supplier clauses, and inspection notification timelines, as well as special process approval requirements.
  • Ensure that document references, drawings, codes, and attachments reflect the latest revisions.
  • Track and report specification revision mismatches.
  • Maintain a standardized Quality Clause Library aligned with the Quality Management System (QMS) and governance documents.
  • Support the addition of new clauses based on regulatory updates or lessons learned.
  • Maintain a compliance matrix that tracks pre-award review findings.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Lead to close documentation gaps prior to award.
  • Support audit readiness and document retention requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise while supporting Mace’s net zero carbon transition initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, EPC Quality Governance, or large-scale project quality management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

Preferred Certifications

  • Professional training or certification in ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor.
  • Certification in Supplier Quality Management.
  • Certification in Contract Management.
  • Certification in FIDIC contract administration, or an equivalent qualification.
