About TawanTech and the Role

TawanTech is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves leading technical design, architecture, and deployment of solutions on the Now Platform.

Role Overview

The Senior ServiceNow Developer will champion the organization's platform strategy, focusing on optimizing IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows and engineering complex, strategic custom applications using IT Workflows and ServiceNow App Engine. This role also includes contributing to scheduled platform upgrades and plugin updates, ensuring they do not impact existing services and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enhancement requirements related to the ITSM suite, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Service Catalog, to enhance automation and improve employee experience.
• Develop custom dashboards and reports for management and business units.
• Design and engineer complex scoped custom enterprise applications utilizing App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and advanced IntegrationHub spokes.
• Contribute to Platform Governance by sharing experience on technical standards, managing update sets, overseeing code reviews, and maintaining overall platform health, upgradability, and performance.
• Architect complex bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and MID servers.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, collaborate with product owners to translate business vision into technical requirements, and guide stakeholder expectations.

Required Experience and Skills

• Proven experience leading technical teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA) are required.
• Certified Application Specialist (CAS) in App Engine or ITSM Implementation Specialist is highly preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
