About the Opportunity at Qiddiya

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Specialist IT Security Operations to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of security operations across both enterprise and asset environments. The specialist will play a critical part in maintaining security control health, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and internal cybersecurity requirements, collaborating closely with managed service providers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT security operations across the organization.
• Monitor the health and effectiveness of security controls and drive continuous improvements.
• Manage and oversee the incident lifecycle, including detection, triage, escalation, and closure.
• Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance across incidents, service requests, and change management activities.
• Track and ensure timely remediation of Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) findings.
• Support compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NCA, PDPL, and ISO standards.
• Oversee the performance of key security domains, including Cloud Security and Identity Security.
• Prepare operational dashboards and reports on incidents, SLAs, vulnerabilities, and control effectiveness.
• Maintain IT Security Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes.
• Coordinate with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in IT security operations or a closely related field. This experience should encompass a strong understanding of security control monitoring, incident management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with industry standards.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The Senior Specialist will operate within a dynamic environment, requiring close collaboration with both internal teams and external Managed Service Providers to ensure seamless and effective security service delivery.
