About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on ensuring that large-scale construction projects are executed in line with contractual, technical, and quality requirements. The role requires 5-10 years of experience, specifically within site supervision teams on mega projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor construction progress to ensure work is completed according to contract requirements.
• Identify variations in contractor performance or expected outcomes, propose actions, and coordinate with parties to align with project deliverables.
• Review construction progress and quality control measures.
• Manage, supervise, and monitor subordinate local civil engineers.
• Monitor the quality and timing of consultant responses to technical site issues and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Monitor information provided by contractors regarding RFIs and shop drawing submittals.
• Monitor the timing of submittals against schedule requirements and the number of re-submittals needed for approval.
• Ensure the suitability and availability of drawings and data for contractor work.
• Monitor staffing levels and the suitability of abilities for outstanding work items.
• Monitor the quality of product, information, and coordination provided by consultants.
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of inspections carried out by consultants.
• Verify and maintain copies of Daily Reports.
• Monitor compliance with approved coordinated method statements for works.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Extensive site experience within a site supervision team.
• Experience working on mega projects.
• Working knowledge of contract conditions.
• Computer literacy.
