Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

Wipro Limited is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and focuses on enhancing system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency within cloud environments.

Key Outcomes

The primary objectives for this role include improving system uptime, reducing Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR), ensuring scalable cloud operations, and implementing effective monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog.
• Handle incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), on-call support, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets.
• Automate operations to enhance efficiency, reliability, and reduce MTTR.
• Manage Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, runbooks, and ITIL processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Production Support with AWS cloud.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
• Scripting capabilities using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident/RCA management processes.

Experience Level

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
