About the Supervising Engineer Role

FourArchitects Engineering Consulting Company is seeking a Supervising Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring that engineering and construction projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, and all relevant quality and regulatory standards. The role involves comprehensive oversight from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering and construction activities on-site, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor contractors’ performance to ensure full compliance with established quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Review and approve work progress, site inspections, and all technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, recommending and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Monitor project schedules, providing regular reports on progress, potential delays, and identified risks.
• Ensure comprehensive compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct thorough site inspections and quality audits to maintain high project standards.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and meticulously maintain all project records.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering their professional development.
• Support various aspects of project planning, budgeting, and efficient resource allocation.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Supervising Engineer position must possess a solid background in engineering and construction project oversight. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, demonstrating a proven track record in managing complex projects.
