About Deemah and the Role

Deemah is seeking a dedicated Technician 2 to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our engineering processes, contributing directly to our operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Technician 2 is to achieve established engineering objectives through the development and execution of suitable and effective action plans. This involves a proactive approach to maintenance and technical support within the department, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures, and controls that govern all activities within the maintenance department.
• Ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are met, maintaining full compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, specifically ISO9001 standards.

Technical and Operational Duties

• Maintain and continuously update Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Ensure the consistent availability of necessary spare parts to minimize downtime and support operational continuity.
• Communicate effectively with external machine suppliers for support, parts, and technical information.
• Provide immediate support to production teams in the event of any machine breakdowns, facilitating rapid resolution.
• Program software for machine PLCs, adapting to new requirements or optimizing existing processes.
