About the Waiter Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Waiter to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests, focusing on attentive service and a proactive approach within our food and beverage operations.

Contributing to Guest Experience

As a Guest Service Expert, the Waiter plays a vital role in ensuring guests enjoy their meals and that every interaction contributes to a special experience. This involves delivering a comprehensive range of services with a focus on guest satisfaction and upholding the brand's commitment to quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Set tables and prepare dining areas for service.
• Communicate effectively and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Interact with and serve guests, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their meal.
• Clean work areas and maintain necessary supplies.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
• Uphold high-quality standards in service delivery.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.

Physical Demands of the Role

This position requires physical activity and mobility, including being on your feet and moving for extended periods. Specific physical requirements include:

• Standing, sitting, or walking, and moving over sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Managing menus, which involves reading and visually verifying information.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
