These roles are based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and are open to qualified Saudi candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels.

Department Overview

The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management is part of the KFUPM Business School, which has maintained AACSB accreditation since 2002. The department is seeking individuals to contribute to research and teaching across various branches of Information Systems and Operations Management.

Areas of Specialization

Candidates should possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Information Systems:

  • Systems Analysis and Design
  • Database Management Systems
  • Management Support Systems (DSS, ES, EIS, AI, ANN, etc.)
  • E-Commerce
  • Internet Technologies and Web Applications
  • Information Resources Management
• Operations Management

Key Responsibilities

The selected faculty member will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Core responsibilities include:

• Delivering teaching assignments
• Conducting research activities
• Providing academic advising to students
• Undertaking administrative duties as required
• Performing any other academic duties assigned by the academic department

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a relevant field of Information Systems or Operations Management.
