About the Dental Lab Technician Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Dental Lab Technician to join its team in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in dental laboratory procedures and prosthodontics.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Dental Lab Technician performs a range of specialized tasks crucial to the dental laboratory's operations. This role involves preparing and assessing case plans, and daily utilization of both the lost wax technique and the Acrylic Injection system. As a key contributor within the removable prosthodontics section, the technician is responsible for maintaining production levels and actively working to enhance the quality and quantity of prostheses, thereby contributing to the overall standards of the Dental Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary production source for prosthetic work, fabricating all types of acrylic appliances.
• Produce full and partial dentures, as well as stints.
• Handle simple and moderate restorative cases that require precision attachments.
• Perform detailed gnathological biting procedures.

Operational Autonomy and Oversight

The Dental Lab Technician operates with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high degree of independence in daily duties. This autonomy is based on recognized technical competence in dental laboratory procedures. Occasional checks on production and quality are provided by the Senior Dental Laboratory Technician.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position must possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician, with a proven track record in fabricating a variety of dental prostheses and appliances.
