ABOUT THE PROPERTYDar Tantora, The House Hotel – An earth-built community in AlUla. With its labyrinth of tightly packed streets, hundreds of mud-brick buildings, and a colossal watchtower fort, Dar Tantora, The House Hotel, is situated in the heart of AlUla’s Old Town, one of Saudi Arabia's most impressive heritage sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Continuously monitor and review sales production. Adjust sales activities, account coverage, and sales priorities to ensure that goals are consistently met.
- Optimise room utilisation by assessing the demand and supply for rooms.
- Establish account qualification criteria using market research and telemarketing resources. Identify priority accounts and assign sales responsibilities to ensure optimal coverage.
- Propose and oversee the setup of a robust sales administration system covering portfolio and database management. Audit the system regularly and monitor its maintenance to meet the sales team’s needs.
CONNECTION- Coordinate close, frequent, and open communication with Corporate Sales & Marketing and sister properties.
- Lead, manage, and motivate an effective team of sales professionals. Establish team sales goals and allocate key accounts to each member.
- Perform market research on target audiences to determine the best ways to reach customers and develop lasting relationships.
INNOVATION- Identify opportunities for improvement in sales operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating relevant innovations into operations.
CURATION- Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.
- Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV etc.), exhibitions, and promotional events.
LEADING THE WAY- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
- Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability, ensuring the sales team remains competitive in the market.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS- Previous experience in KSA Luxury Market and leading a sales team to achieve budgeted sales goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating, as well as maintaining key account relationships.
- Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Expertise in market research, account qualification, and identifying market segments.
- Proficient in MS Office and sales software (* CRM).
- Familiarity with social media and web analytics (* Web Trends).
