Join Hyatt Place Al Ula as a Pastry Chef!We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Pastry Chef to support the opening of Hyatt Place Al Ula, a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion with 215 guestrooms and various amenities.
Your Role:As a Pastry Chef, you’ll take the lead in pastry operations, ensuring the highest quality, creativity, and presentation across all offerings.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead daily pastry and bakery operations
- Create desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods
- Develop seasonal pastry menus
- Maintain consistency in taste and presentation
- Monitor hygiene and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and cost control
- Train and mentor the pastry team
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Support pre-opening kitchen setup
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in hotels or high-end restaurants
- Strong expertise in pastry production and dessert presentation
- Creativity and passion for modern pastry techniques
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills in English
- Pre-opening experience is a plus.
