Instrument Engineer Oil & Gas

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer for a full-time position within a reputable Oil & Gas Company in Saudi Arabia. This role is based in the Eastern Region, with opportunities across cities including Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Al Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Al Qatif, Ras Tannurah, Al Khafji, and Buqayq. The position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in relevant industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply strong experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA), and Reliability Engineering principles.
• Demonstrate expertise in Instrumentation, Control Systems, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
• Work with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Control Valves, Field Instrumentation, and Calibration processes.
• Participate in RCM, FMEA, HAZOP, and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) workshops.
• Develop and validate strategies for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM), Proof Testing, and Calibration.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience as an Instrument Engineer.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, or other Industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of IEC 61511, ISA Standards, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Studies, and Functional Safety.
• Familiarity with SAP PM is preferred.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from SAR 8,000 to SAR 10,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
