Role Overview

Almoosa Health Group is seeking a qualified Accounting Manager to join its finance team in Al Hafuf, Eastern region. This full-time position is central to managing the group's financial reporting and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee periodical financial closing processes for management reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Review general ledger accounts and execute necessary journal entries, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly postings for accruals and provisions.
• Support statutory audit requirements and provide necessary assistance to external auditors.
• Conduct reconciliations with related parties.
• Review payroll, staff incentives, and benefits, and manage payment processing.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the department head.
• Provide personalized coordinated care and support for staff.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is preferred.

Required Professional Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in financial consolidation and monthly financial closing processes.
• Previous experience with a Big Four accounting firm (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, or PwC) is preferred.

Technical Skills and Industry Preference

• Hands-on experience with Oracle.
• Strong understanding of VAT and its related accounting requirements.
• Experience within the healthcare industry is preferred.
