About the Opportunity

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea is seeking a Prep Cook 2 to join its pre-opening culinary team. This full-time position is based in the Red Sea region of Saudi Arabia, specifically on Shura Island, located between Umluj and Al Wajh. The resort is being developed as a luxury beachside destination, featuring 149 rooms and suites, multiple dining outlets including Vivi, a Mediterranean beachfront restaurant, and extensive guest facilities.

The Role of Prep Cook 2

The Prep Cook 2 supports the culinary team by performing fundamental food preparation tasks. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, and organization within the kitchen, contributing to the efficient operation of assigned departments and dining outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, measure, and prepare ingredients according to established recipes and menu standards.
• Maintain an organized workstation at all times.
• Support chefs in the daily execution of menus for the assigned department and outlet.
• Adhere rigorously to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
• Meet preparation deadlines while upholding exceptional quality standards.
• Properly label, date, and store food items to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist in plating, garnishing, and finishing dishes as required.
• Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated solid knife skills and basic cooking technique knowledge.
• Ability to follow recipes and directions with precision.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Positive, adaptable attitude with an interest in learning within a dynamic, multicultural environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
