Red Sea Global is seeking a General Manager - Corallium to lead its flagship marine experience in Umluj. This full-time, site-based leadership position is responsible for guiding Corallium through its transition from pre-opening to steady-state operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, and commercially sustainable performance. The role involves activating science, research, and partnership initiatives to drive new revenue streams and enhance global positioning.

Corallium, a key attraction at Amaala’s Triple Bay, is inspired by the Red Sea and aims to deliver transformative, world-class visitor journeys. Its mission is grounded in marine education, environmental regeneration, and immersive storytelling, with the ambition of becoming a global benchmark in ocean experience and stewardship, aligned with Red Sea Global’s vision for responsible tourism and sustainability. Corallium operates under Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, utilizing a hybrid delivery model that combines in-house leadership with services from RSG subsidiaries and selected partners. The General Manager holds full accountability for overall performance, integration, and delivery of the visitor experience, ensuring all service providers meet Corallium’s standards and RSG strategic objectives.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the transition into stable operations across all functions, ensuring alignment of marine life welfare, Life Support Systems (LSS), and operational processes.
• Close pre-opening gaps and uphold safety discipline across all activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and ownership of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Optimize staffing, cost efficiency, and embed performance management practices.
• Deliver a high-quality, seamless visitor experience and implement feedback and improvement loops.
• Ensure marine life welfare and system alignment, and develop long-term science and conservation capabilities.
• Drive revenue across all streams, implementing effective pricing strategies and identifying new commercial opportunities.
• Establish research platforms and partnerships, translating scientific initiatives into credibility and funding.
• Build strategic partnerships and sponsorships to position Corallium globally.
• Ensure robust cost control, adapt business plans, and maintain governance alignment with RSSE and RSG.
• Build a high-performing team and foster a culture of accountability and ownership.
• Manage operational risk and uphold safety standards.
• Lead and coordinate service delivery across subsidiaries and partners, ensuring aligned objectives, standards, and performance, and establishing clear accountability and escalation processes.
• Deliver operational and strategic targets, effectively allocate resources, and drive a performance-oriented culture.
• Balance short-term operational priorities with long-term strategic goals.

Required Experience and Attributes

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in a relevant leadership role, preferably within large-scale attractions, hospitality, or marine-focused operations.
• Proven ability to lead complex operations through transition phases, from opening to stable performance and growth.
• Demonstrated experience in managing diverse teams and integrating services from multiple partners and subsidiaries.
• Strong understanding of commercial performance drivers, visitor experience excellence, and operational efficiency.
• Experience in developing and activating science, research, and partnership initiatives.
