About the Airport Greeter Role

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Airport Greeter for its new property, Raffles The Red Sea, located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for providing the initial point of contact and ensuring a seamless arrival experience for guests, upholding the brand's standards of luxury and personalized service from the moment they land.

Raffles The Red Sea is part of the kingdom's Red Sea Project, offering a sanctuary of refined elegance and timeless luxury. The property blends Raffles’ legendary graciousness and personalized service with the natural beauty and sustainability ethos of Red Sea Global. Alongside Fairmont The Red Sea, the destination features 361 rooms, 11 distinct dining concepts, and a Spa, providing a curated haven for discerning travelers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily guest arrival lists and flight details to ensure presence at the terminal for every scheduled flight.
  • Greet guests warmly at the arrival hall with a personalized signboard, using their name immediately to offer a "Raffles Welcome."
  • Coordinate with the Chief Concierge to ensure the correct number of hotel cars are on standby and meet brand cleanliness and amenity standards.
  • Assist guests with baggage from the carousel to the vehicle, ensuring all items are handled with care and correctly loaded.
  • Inform the hotel Front Office and Butler teams immediately when VIP guests are en route.
  • Maintain professional relationships with airport personnel, immigration, and customs officers to facilitate smooth guest passage.
  • Act as a frontline problem-solver for delayed flights, lost luggage, or transport issues, reporting guest complaints to the Chief Concierge.

Professional Standards and Guest Experience

  • Embody the Raffles "anticipatory" service style by identifying and addressing guest needs before they are requested, such as offering water or a cold towel.
  • Maintain an impeccable, neat, and professional appearance at all times, representing the hotel's 5-star image in a public setting.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English, demonstrating cultural sensitivity when interacting with international clientele.
  • Possess a deep understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel environment, preferably with a background in Bell or Door services.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy luggage.
  • Deep familiarity with airport terminal layouts, hotel facilities, and local area highlights to answer guest inquiries.
  • Experience in pre-opening stages, including project coordination, scheduling, and document control, is required.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, operating within the dynamic environment of an international airport terminal and supporting a luxury resort in its pre-opening phase.
