About the Senior Accounting Officer Role at Almarai

Almarai is seeking a Senior Accounting Officer to join its finance team in Tabuk. This full-time role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining robust financial controls across various business units within the organization.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Senior Accounting Officer contributes to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of Almarai. The position involves managing key accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and providing direct support to the broader finance team. This role is integral to the consistent and reliable flow of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash flow activities and related financial transactions.
• Perform comprehensive financial reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Execute all necessary period-end accounting activities efficiently.
• Handle costing processes and related analyses.
• Conduct SAP validations to maintain system integrity and data consistency.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal control policies.
• Provide practical, on-the-job support and guidance to members of the finance team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience gained within a commercial organization.
• Prior experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
• Meets the minimum credit hours required to be eligible for SOCPA membership.
