Environmental Health Safety Engineer

About the Role

Envision Energy is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Engineer to join their team in Tabuk. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on establishing and maintaining EHS standards across business operations and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the company's EHS audit processes and rules, driving business units to improve management details and ensure policy implementation.
• Identify and assess EHS risks across business operations, developing and enhancing corresponding audit plans, and regularly evaluating business risks through routine audits, periodic coverage, and targeted assessments.
• Focus on high-risk areas through risk prioritization and review, driving business units to intensify efforts in high-risk improvement to reduce the company's overall EHS risk profile.
• Lead major EHS incident investigations, analyzing underlying business risks, identifying systemic gaps in control processes and rules, and driving fundamental improvements.
• Coach and develop internal audit capabilities across business units, enhancing their self-audit competence and effectiveness, and building sustainable internal monitoring mechanisms.
• Oversee site EHS management, ensuring effective implementation of EHS standards at project sites, including routine inspections, hazard identification, permit-to-work system compliance, and emergency response readiness. This includes driving continuous improvement of on-site safety performance through regular site visits, field observations, and behavior-based safety coaching, and strengthening frontline EHS execution by working closely with site teams to close identified gaps and ensure alignment between audit findings and field-level corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in an Environmental Health Safety role.
• Demonstrated expertise in site EHS management, including conducting field inspections, identifying hazards in real-time, and enforcing safety protocols in dynamic operational environments.
• Experience managing EHS across multiple dispersed sites (*, wind farms, storage projects) is highly valued.

• Keen observation skills: Ability to identify safety hazards and non-compliant behaviors during site inspections and patrols, with attention to detail and a strong sense of risk perception.
• Strong communication and coordination skills: Capability to effectively communicate and coordinate with headquarters departments, frontline employees, external regulatory agencies, and partners to advance safety management.
• Problem-solving ability: Capacity to make quick and accurate judgments when facing complex safety issues and emergencies, taking effective measures to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
• Data analysis capability: Ability to systematically analyze safety information and data, identify patterns and trends, provide scientific basis for safety decision-making, and drive precision auditing.
