About the Storekeeper Role

Arla Foods is seeking a Storekeeper to join its team in Jizan. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to contribute to the efficient management of warehouse operations and uphold company standards.

Operational Responsibilities

• Collaborate as an essential team member, contributing to operational tasks with flexibility and adaptability to daily assignments.
• Prepare and execute the daily operational plan accurately within agreed parameters.
• Oversee inventory, handle goods, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Ensure effective stock control, proper storage, and timely distribution according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with planners, Sales, and Commercial Operations to ensure timely order delivery.
• Prepare and provide all necessary delivery documents, such as route plans, delivery notes, invoices, and instructions, to drivers prior to departure.
• Receive documentation and address any complaints or inquiries related to sales.

Compliance, Quality, and Safety

• Ensure all warehouse processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including inbound, outbound, and inventory management, are followed correctly.
• Comply with Arla Foods’ standards, policies, and applicable local laws.
• Promote and ensure a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment.
• Ensure quality and food safety within the area of responsibility and promote a strong quality and food safety mindset.
• Inform the manager of any issues as they arise in a timely manner.

Equipment Management and Professional Development

• Responsible for the maintenance of the warehouse, machinery, material-handling equipment, and trucks.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Skilled education within Logistics, Warehousing, or an equivalent field.
• Basic understanding of machinery, equipment, and fleet used in the warehouse.
• Ability to coordinate with relevant functions to ensure timely maintenance of material-handling equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and build strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally.
