The Role of Container Terminal Dispatcher

Stax Logistics is seeking an experienced Container Terminal Dispatcher to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role involves coordinating and monitoring daily terminal activities to ensure the efficient movement of containers, trucks, and handling equipment within the terminal.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily terminal operations with the Operations Manager, Yard Supervisor, equipment operators, truck drivers, and customers.
• Organize and schedule daily tasks related to container movements and equipment assignments.
• Track container movements and ensure accurate record-keeping of all operational activities.
• Manage equipment assignments to optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of containers, trucks, and handling equipment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of direct experience as a dispatcher or in a similar operational role within a container terminal or container depot.
• Candidates must possess specific experience in container terminal or depot operations.
• Experience limited to general logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, delivery dispatching, or shipping agencies will not be considered for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah. The role requires active coordination within a dynamic terminal environment, collaborating with various operational teams and external stakeholders.
