Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Energy Care is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on technical and field support, as well as testing and verification for advanced energy systems.

Technical Support Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations and lead discussions on the company’s Smart Metering, Communication Systems, and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
• Conduct technical presentations and discussions regarding Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Smart Microgrid Design Services.
• Present and discuss technical aspects of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) products and services.
• Provide technical presentations and lead discussions on Smart Submetering Services and products.
• Offer after-sales customer support and technical training for all company products and services, including AMI, BESS, EVCS, and Submetering.

Field Support Responsibilities

• Support customer roll-out activities, including installation planning, configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute pilot activities, encompassing data capture, analysis, and associated reporting.
• Provide online and phone support to customers for metering and communication products.
• Offer online and phone support for ancillary software, such as HHU and PC Emulation Software.
• Assist in the design and delivery of customer training programs, including instructional material, presentations, and on-site delivery.

Test and Verification Responsibilities

• Develop functional and parametric test plans based on customer specifications and requirements.
• Set up and maintain necessary test platforms for functional and parametric testing.
• Implement and execute required test plans under the supervision of customer engineers and representatives at customer locations.
• Compile test reports according to customer requirements and ensure their validation and approval.
• Verify metering and communication prototypes and support product certifications.
