About the Role

Abdul Latif Jameel Company Limited is seeking an Engineer to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience. Abdul Latif Jameel is a diversified business group with a significant presence in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT region), known for its strong partnerships and representation of leading global brands.

Purpose of the Position

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate service operations within the Center. This involves managing manpower and facility resources to achieve targets related to customer satisfaction, customer retention, and productivity. Adherence to the company's vision, mission, and values, along with standard operating procedures, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve operational targets by defining and preparing business plans.
  • Provide efficient service with a "Guest First" mindset and perform essential duties.
  • Apply Jameel Standards relevant to service operations.
  • Implement all instructions and policies related to safety, welfare, integrity, and the company's branding image.
  • Conduct pre-acceptance inspections, documenting vehicle condition and valuables with customers.
  • Assist in achieving GDI targets and increasing customer retention through professional engagement.
  • Ensure satisfactory repairs are completed as per customer demands, coordinating with the Chief Technician.
  • Discuss repair details, estimated costs, and delivery times with customers using appropriate diagnostic and communication methods.
  • Communicate repair progress to customers, obtaining approval for additional parts and avoiding unnecessary replacements.
  • Support a "Guest Centric" and "Fix-It-Right" mindset to achieve high-quality after-sales activities.
  • Follow up on spare parts with the Parts Department to ensure timely repairs and vehicle delivery.
  • Conduct post-service follow-ups for complaints and report issues to the Workshop Floor Manager.
  • Improve customer confidence and satisfaction by adhering to service operation standards.
  • Monitor the Job Controller for accurate data entry and vehicle delivery status updates.
  • Ensure the Chief Technician complies with quality control policies and procedures.

Job Context and Requirements

This role requires advanced knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes, as well as basic knowledge of sales and promotion methods. The position directly impacts sales target achievement and customer satisfaction ratios. The job holder is responsible for the handling of parts within the warehouse, including conversion, receiving, binning, picking, and dispatching.

The Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring high customer satisfaction through optimal care and quality service work. This position is also vital for ensuring the application of the company’s vision, mission, and values, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
