About the Role

Abdul Latif Jameel Company Limited is seeking a Fleet Transportation Manager to oversee day-to-day fleet operations in Jeddah. This full-time role is critical for ensuring smooth operational flow and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient vehicle transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations, including executing vehicle transport plans.
• Oversee and coordinate all fleet maintenance activities.
• Monitor and maintain fuel consumption, comparing trip destinations against actual fuel costs.
• Schedule routes and deliveries, ensuring on-time vehicle delivery.
• Ensure daily driver availability and monitor driver behavior.
• Develop and train drivers on proper vehicle loading and offloading procedures.
• Comply with all relevant government regulations.
• Maintain operational costs and manage the overall fleet condition.

Impact and Authority

This role has a direct impact on operational trucks and requires advanced knowledge of Fleet Operation Management. The Fleet Transportation Manager holds strategic responsibility for developing and monitoring the team, including the creation of a succession plan within the department. The position also includes the authority to hire and terminate drivers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in fleet operation management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex daily logistics and operational challenges.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, fuel efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
