General Ophthalmologist

About the Role

Magrabi Health is seeking a General Ophthalmologist to join our team in Makkah. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive ophthalmological care to patients, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and patient education within our healthcare facilities in cities such as Jeddah and Makkah.

Role Overview

The General Ophthalmologist will be responsible for assessing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions. This role requires a commitment to patient care, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment planning, ensuring patients receive appropriate medical guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, investigate, and examine patients to establish a diagnosis.
• Document and evaluate patients' medical histories comprehensively.
• Refer patients for specialized treatments when conditions extend beyond the scope of general ophthalmology practice.
• Educate patients thoroughly to ensure understanding of their medical condition and treatment plans.
• Prescribe appropriate ophthalmology treatments.
• Support health promotion and disease prevention activities within the practice.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a General Ophthalmologist.
• Relevant medical qualifications and licensure to practice ophthalmology.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with opportunities to serve patients across our facilities in Jeddah and Makkah. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
