About the Guest Service Expert / Hostess Role

Marriott International is seeking a Guest Service Expert / Hostess to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Role Purpose

The Guest Service Expert / Hostess plays a crucial role in ensuring guests enjoy their meals by providing a wide range of services that extend beyond basic food service. This position is integral to delivering unique and memorable experiences for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Take initiative to deliver a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their meal.
Set tables according to established standards.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
Interact with and serve guests in a professional manner.
Clean work areas and maintain supplies.
Ensure transactions are handled smoothly and feel integrated into the overall guest experience.
Contribute to creating and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Uphold quality standards in all aspects of service delivery.
Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional at all times.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
Ability to read and visually verify information, such as menus.
Capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
