About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Production Planning Engineer to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on managing the material planning process to ensure production schedules are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Determine the required quantity and order dates for materials necessary to fulfill the production schedule.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely availability of materials for production operations.
Address and resolve issues or problems within existing systems and processes, implementing minor changes as needed.
Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

A university degree with 1 year of suggested minimum experience, or an Associate's/Technical Degree with 6 years of suggested minimum experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results with a short-term, operational focus.
Capability to set and achieve daily operational objectives that may impact others within the job area.
Broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.

Problem-Solving and Impact

The role primarily involves addressing problems and issues that generally fall within a single job area or discipline, with a well-defined scope. Occasionally, problems may be vaguely defined, requiring an understanding and consideration of other job areas. This position operates as an individual contributor with no direct responsibility for leading others.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
