Senior Network Security Engineer

About the Role

Saudi German Health is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on enhancing the security posture of the enterprise network, endpoints, remote access, and applications. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in network and endpoint security, with a strong background in key security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies and access controls.
• Administer Cisco ISE / Network Access Control (NAC), covering authentication, profiling, posture assessment, and * policies.
• Implement and manage secure remote access solutions, specifically Prisma and Citrix ZTNA.
• Configure and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions and associated security policies.
• Administer Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms for threat detection, malware prevention, and containment.
• Monitor and investigate security alerts, coordinating remediation activities as needed.
• Implement endpoint hardening and security policies across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Collaborate with SOC, Threat Intelligence, Network, and Infrastructure teams on security incidents and continuous improvements.
• Support compliance efforts with security standards such as NCA, ISO 27001, and CIS.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in network security.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ISE.
• Demonstrated experience with EDR, WAF, NAC, ZTNA, and general endpoint security/hardening.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security principles and threat detection methodologies.

Work Location

This position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with potential work in Jeddah. It is a full-time role within the Saudi German Health organization.
