وصف الوظيفة

About the Role

Astek Middle East is seeking a Senior Web Analytics & CRO Specialist to enhance the measurement, analysis, and optimization of digital customer journeys within a high-volume transactional eCommerce environment. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with work opportunities in Jeddah and Makkah, and requires 5-10 years of experience.

This is a hands-on, implementation-focused role. The specialist will ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions, reliable analytics implementations, and the translation of behavioral insights into measurable improvements in conversion and digital experience. The role is technical, focusing on web/product analytics and CRO, rather than general digital marketing or campaign reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Web Analytics Implementation & Measurement: Implement, configure, audit, and troubleshoot GA4 and GTM, including tags, triggers, events, and parameters. Own tracking plans, event taxonomies, data-layer requirements, and QA checklists. Validate browser-side, cross-domain, consent-aware, and server-side tracking. Use GTM Preview, GA4 DebugView, and browser developer tools to identify tracking issues and conduct release regression testing.
  2. Behavioral Analytics & Customer Journey Diagnostics: Configure and analyze behavioral analytics tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity. Use session recordings, heatmaps, and funnel analysis to identify abandonment points and usability friction. Translate findings into prioritized, actionable recommendations for Product, UX, and Engineering teams, while applying privacy safeguards.
  3. Conversion Rate Optimization & Experimentation: Develop evidence-based hypotheses and measurement plans for A/B tests. Support experiment implementation, targeting, QA, and interpretation of results using platforms like VWO or Optimizely. Maintain a prioritized CRO opportunity backlog and collaborate with stakeholders to drive measurable improvements.
  4. Data Quality, Attribution & Analytics Enablement: Establish tracking standards, UTM governance, and conversion tracking quality controls. Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between GA4, marketing reports, and backend transaction systems. Use SQL and BigQuery to validate GA4 exports and support business intelligence datasets. Document implementations, audit findings, and deliver knowledge-transfer sessions.

Expected Deliverables

  • An initial tracking and analytics tooling audit with prioritized remediation recommendations.
  • A documented measurement framework, event taxonomy, data-layer specifications, and tracking QA procedures.
  • A prioritized CRO experimentation backlog supported by behavioral and funnel analysis.
  • Improved tracking completeness and reduced discrepancies between analytics and backend transactions.
  • Documented experiment results, implementation standards, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate personal implementation, debugging, and validation experience. Experience limited to reviewing GA4 dashboards, reporting campaign performance, managing paid media, SEO, or optimizing marketing campaigns will not meet the core requirements.

  • Essential Requirements:

    • At least five years of hands-on technical web or product analytics implementation experience, preferably within transactional eCommerce, insurance, financial services, or self-service digital products.
    • Advanced practical experience implementing and debugging GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
    • Demonstrated ownership of event tracking, data-layer design, tagging specifications, conversion measurement, and implementation QA.
    • A current, verifiable Google Analytics certification (evidence must be provided with CV).
    • Working knowledge of JavaScript, browser developer tools, HTTP requests, and web tracking fundamentals.
    • Hands-on experience with at least one behavioral analytics platform and one A/B testing or experimentation platform.
    • Proven ability to investigate tracking defects, validate transactional conversion events, and translate journey data into prioritized recommendations.
    • Experience collaborating directly with frontend/backend developers, Product, UX, and external technology vendors.
    • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Practical experience with Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, FullStory, Contentsquare, VWO, Optimizely, or AB Tasty.
    • SQL, BigQuery, GA4 export analysis, or Power BI integration experience.
    • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Tealium, Amplitude, Mixpanel, consent management, or server-side tagging.
    • Experience in insurance, banking, fintech, or transactional eCommerce.
    • Additional certifications in Google Tag Manager, experimentation, or product analytics.
