Role Overview

Daikin Saudi is seeking a Sr. Project Execution Engineer for a full-time position based in Jeddah, covering the Western Region. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of HVAC projects, including chiller replacements, retrofit works, VRV system supply and installation, and full turnkey solutions. The Senior Project Execution Engineer owns the complete project lifecycle, from sales handover through planning, execution, monitoring & control, financial governance, commissioning, and close-out, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, compliant with contractual obligations, and aligned with quality and HSE standards.

Project Execution and Management

• Validate project scope, specifications, commercial terms, and contractual obligations received from Sales.
• Identify key risks, assumptions, constraints, and mitigation strategies at the outset, and lead internal and external project kick-off meetings.
• Develop and manage integrated project execution plans covering schedule, resources, procurement, cash flow, and cost baselines.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure full project readiness and alignment.
• Review technical submittals, method statements, and compliance documentation to meet project execution standards.
• Lead site execution of HVAC projects, managing subcontractors and ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and maintain proactive coordination with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Track progress against baseline schedules and key milestones, monitoring cost performance, variations, and change orders.
• Issue accurate and timely progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts, identifying deviations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Financial Oversight and Project Closure

• Own project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin protection.
• Manage payments, variations, and claims, ensuring alignment with contractual and profitability targets.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet design intent, operational performance, and client requirements.
• Lead final inspections, snag closure, and stakeholder approvals, ensuring complete and accurate handover documentation.
• Secure formal client acceptance and project closure, supporting service teams during the defect liability period.
• Conduct structured project close-out reviews, capturing lessons learned and institutionalizing best practices to strengthen client relationships.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC project execution, with strong exposure to chillers and VRV systems.
• Demonstrated experience delivering turnkey HVAC projects in KSA or GCC markets.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly VRV technologies and central plant solutions.
• Solid knowledge of project management frameworks (*, PMI principles) and execution tools.
• Project Management certification (*, PMP or equivalent) is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills for reporting progress, preparing documentation, and supporting meetings.
• Good commercial awareness, with understanding of cost implications, material usage, and efficient resource utilization.
