Supply Chain Planner

About the Role

Sunbulah Group is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on both commercial planning and demand forecasting within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities: Commercial Planning

• Extract consolidated sales forecasts for commercial products from the system.
• Review monthly forecasts with the sales department, covering both local and export sales.
• Issue bi-weekly commercial planning reports.
• Identify purchasing needs for commercial products.
• Prepare and present long-term planning to the commercial buying manager for contract preparation (*, crop-to-crop).
• Generate Request for Quotations (RFQs) in the system for approved suppliers, coordinating with the Commercial Buying Manager.
• Create necessary Purchase Orders (POs) and contracts for suppliers within their specified lead times.
• Follow up on PO releases with relevant managers.
• Obtain supplier confirmation on delivery dates and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with the commercial buying manager regarding suppliers and pricing of commercial products.
• Liaise with the warehouse for product deliveries.
• Coordinate with the logistics division for document handover and customs clearance.
• Issue required reports and planning sheets in a timely manner.
• Maintain a proper filing and record system.

Key Responsibilities: Demand Planning

• Prepare daily demand and supply availability reports and activities.
• Prepare monthly MBR and DMR data to ensure a complete Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle is met on time.
• Prepare and monitor statistical forecasts for local markets.
• Manage and maintain KPIs for Finished Goods (FG) availability tracking on a daily and monthly basis across all plants.
• Manage and maintain KPIs for company forecast accuracy reporting monthly for all markets.
• Evaluate and recommend actions to improve on-time supply performance.
• Follow up with supply team members to ensure timely delivery of required volumes.
• Measure delivery team performance against company guidelines and department KPIs, issuing monthly reports to the delivery team and their line managers for accountability.
• Maintain a library of historical data and key learnings from previous months' performance, making data available as needed.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices, considering best practices and business process enhancements.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah.
