Tendering Manager

About the Role

Jazera Arabia Contracting is seeking an experienced Tendering Manager to join its team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with operations covering Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a professional with significant experience in the contracting and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tendering teams, overseeing the entire tendering process from start to submission.
• Review tender requirements and prepare competitive technical and commercial bids.
• Conduct cost estimation, quantity take-off, and develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.
• Review and approve cost estimates, pricing strategies, and technical and commercial proposals prior to submission.
• Coordinate effectively with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, and Project Management teams throughout the tendering process.
• Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and adhering to deadlines for bid submissions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in tendering and estimation within the contracting and construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure Works, Buildings, and Transmission Line Projects.
• Strong background in cost estimation, bid preparation, quantity take-off, and technical and commercial proposal development.
• Good knowledge of contracts, tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of current market prices, material and subcontractor rates, and construction industry pricing trends to ensure accurate and competitive tender pricing.
