Transportation Dispatcher

About the Role

Flow Progressive Logistics is seeking Transportation Dispatchers to join the Operations – Transportation team. This full-time role is based in the Makkah region, with opportunities in Jeddah and Al Jubail. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign drivers and trucks based on delivery timelines, load requirements, and route efficiency.
• Monitor daily dispatch activities and adjust plans in case of delays, urgent requests, or operational changes.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse, customer service, and transportation teams to ensure smooth delivery execution.
• Track trips through TMS/GPS systems and maintain accurate dispatch and delivery records.
• Verify trip sheets, delivery notes, driver logs, and related documentation.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and safety requirements.
• Report and escalate delays, incidents, resource shortages, and operational bottlenecks.
• Support shift handovers, vehicle maintenance coordination, and driver availability planning.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in transportation dispatch or a related operational role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling and logistics efficiently.
• Experience with TMS/GPS systems for tracking and record-keeping.

Work Environment

This role is part of the Operations – Transportation team, focusing on ensuring efficient logistics and delivery operations within the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah and Al Jubail. It is a full-time position.
