About the Role

Al Haider Company for Contracting is seeking a Quality Engineer specializing in high voltage power transmission projects. This full-time position is based in Ras Tannurah, Eastern Region, and is open to both Civil and Electrical engineering professionals. The role involves working on critical infrastructure projects, including overhead (OHL) and underground (UG) transmission networks, as well as substation construction across various locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and monitor the quality of all engineering activities relevant to the engineer's specialization. This encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from the initial inspection and approval of materials to the continuous evaluation of execution quality on site. The Quality Engineer will ensure that all project works consistently adhere to the highest industry standards and approved technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the quality of civil and electrical works pertaining to Overhead Line (OHL) and Underground (UG) power transmission line projects.
• Conduct thorough field inspections and precise technical evaluations of civil and electrical components specifically for substation construction.
• Ensure that all supplied materials and on-site execution methods comply with established project standards and approved standard specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify any quality-related challenges and facilitate their immediate and fundamental resolution.
• Prepare and regularly update quality documentation and reports to ensure accurate and professional record-keeping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in quality control and assurance for power transmission line and substation projects.
• Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of engineering standards specific to the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
• Strong understanding of quality management principles and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications.

Essential Requirements

• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license.
• Valid membership and accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Mandatory: Prior approval (SEC Approval) as a Quality Engineer from the Saudi Electricity Company. Please attach this approval with your CV.
