About the Role

Everhires is seeking a dedicated Driller to join its team on a full-time basis in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in drilling operations who are committed to safe and efficient field execution.

Role Context and Environment

The Driller will play a crucial role in supporting drilling operations by operating essential drilling equipment and actively assisting with the execution of drilling activities at various field sites. A strong emphasis is placed on ensuring safe and efficient operations, optimizing equipment performance, and providing robust support to the wider drilling team. This is a field-based position that requires working in potentially remote drilling locations, performing physically demanding tasks, and being exposed to outdoor and industrial environments. Performance will be evaluated based on the effectiveness and efficiency of drilling operation support, adherence to safety compliance, proficient equipment handling, and the accuracy of operational records.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate drilling equipment and machinery under the supervision of the Senior Driller.
• Support the execution of drilling programs and monitor key drilling parameters such as speed, depth, and equipment performance.
• Assist with troubleshooting operational issues.
• Inspect drilling equipment and report malfunctions or issues.
• Support basic equipment maintenance, cleaning, and proper storage.
• Handle drilling tools, pipes, and materials, and assist with site preparation and setup.
• Maintain a clean and safe drilling environment.
• Follow all HSE policies, safety procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and incidents.
• Maintain drilling logs, operational records, and required reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in drilling operations.
• Basic knowledge of drilling operations.
• Ability to operate drilling tools and equipment.

Required Skills

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in physically demanding and outdoor/industrial environments.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures and operational instructions.

Work Environment

This role is primarily field-based, involving work at various drilling locations which may include remote sites across Jeddah and Makkah. The position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks and operate in outdoor and industrial settings.
