About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join their team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on creating a memorable and unique dining experience for guests, extending beyond basic food service.

Role Overview

The F&B Service Expert is responsible for delivering a range of services to ensure guest satisfaction during their meal. This involves proactive engagement and attention to detail, contributing to an overall positive experience rather than just serving food and drinks.

Key Responsibilities

Setting tables according to established standards.
Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Interacting with and serving guests in a professional manner.
Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
Processing transactions efficiently while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, including movement over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. The F&B Service Expert will need to read and visually verify information, such as menus. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. The role also involves reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping to perform job duties effectively.
