We are seeking a Head of Finance (Financial Control) to lead the finance operations for Tabby Financing Company CJSC in Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview and Impact

This full-time position is pivotal in ensuring robust financial reporting, statutory compliance, and strong governance for our Saudi entity. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing critical financial functions, including monthly closing, statutory and tax filings, SAMA prudential reporting, treasury operations, and external audits. A key focus will also be on building and strengthening the internal controls environment and supporting the ongoing ERP migration to Oracle NetSuite to meet the highest regulatory and audit standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for KSA, ensuring accuracy, timeliness (D+3 target), and completeness.
  • Ensure comprehensive compliance with IFRS (specifically IFRS 9, 15, 16), SOCPA standards, ZATCA regulations (CIT, Zakat, VAT, WHT, CTDF), and SAMA reporting requirements.
  • Oversee treasury and liquidity management for KSA, encompassing bank accounts, merchant settlements, mandates, and payment approvals.
  • Manage external audits, delivering audit-ready financials supported by complete documentation.
  • Establish, document, and strengthen internal controls across all finance processes.
  • Support provisioning and ECL calculations under IFRS 9 for customer and merchant receivables.
  • Drive ERP re-platforming initiatives, specifically the migration to Oracle NetSuite, and manage related integrations.
  • Prepare and submit statutory and prudential reports to SAMA, and tax filings to ZATCA, ensuring timely submission.
  • Manage intercompany and transfer pricing compliance, collaborating closely with the Group Tax team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations teams to ensure finance readiness for new product launches, including wallet, BNPL, cards, remittance, and loyalty/cashback programs.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in financial control and regulatory compliance within a dynamic environment. Expertise in IFRS, SOCPA, ZATCA, and SAMA regulations is essential. Experience in managing external audits, treasury operations, and implementing ERP systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite, will be highly valued. This role requires a leader capable of building, coaching, and developing a high-performing local finance team.

Team Leadership and Work Environment

This full-time position involves leading and developing a dedicated local finance team in KSA. The Head of Finance will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with various internal departments to achieve strategic objectives and ensure financial integrity. The role is based in Saudi Arabia, with primary locations in Jeddah or Makkah.
