Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor (Saudi Nationality Only)

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor to join their team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and involves ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities and coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments, and relay issues to the next shift.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.

Operational Support and Team Leadership

• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure adherence to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Guest Services and Professional Conduct

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and communicate using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, and listen and respond appropriately to concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards across all tasks.

Physical Requirements and Skills

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capable of pushing and pulling a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Proficiency in reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout a work shift.
• Competence in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Skill in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems, and visually verifying information in various formats.

Additional Duties

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors, contributing to the overall efficiency and guest experience of the hotel.
