About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Pool & Recreation Attendant to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on enhancing guest experience within our recreational facilities. The attendant will be responsible for encouraging guest participation in activities, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
• Provide comprehensive information about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Promote and enforce the rules and regulations of the recreation facility to ensure guest safety and welfare.
• Observe activity within the recreational facility and respond appropriately to emergencies in accordance with local operating procedures.
• Identify and report situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in an activity to a supervisor or manager.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; ensure confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally using clear language; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common goals.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Read and visually verify information presented in various formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify potential defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 50 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Required Qualifications

• CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certification.
• Recreation Equipment certification or training.
• Any additional certification or training required by local and state agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• No related work experience is preferred, aligning with the entry-level nature of this role.
• No supervisory experience.
