About the Role

MBRF, a global food company, is seeking a Procurement Sr. Analyst to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role offers an opportunity to manage significant spend across various procurement categories and contribute to the company's commercial strategy within a dynamic global organization that supports internal talent growth. The position is full-time and involves developing and implementing category strategies, driving cost efficiencies, and building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers across the GCC, international markets, and global procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage approximately $50 million in spend across co-packing categories, distribution partnerships, new category assessment and implementation, and other procurement activities within the GCC, international markets, and with the global procurement team.
• Support the definition of short, middle, and long-term commercial strategies for MBRF's regional and global operations.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers to develop and implement category strategies, ensuring alignment, service quality, and improved Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Conduct data-driven supplier negotiations using internal and external benchmarking data, market trends, and supplier price models to support category strategy execution and business objectives.
• Proactively identify opportunities for new business initiatives, process improvements, and cost efficiencies.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts for cash flow, purchase price variance, and other financial metrics for assigned categories.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• MCIPS or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, and/or supply chain management, preferably within the food industry.
• Proven experience in negotiating complex service agreements and sourcing for multiple indirect categories.
• Demonstrated experience in RFI/RFP/RFQ development, evaluation, negotiations, execution, and contract management.
• Solid understanding of legal issues, contractual principles, and negotiation techniques for complex contractual agreements.
• Knowledge of procurement software and systems such as SAP, ARIBA, and COUPA.
• Familiarity with supply base performance metrics and key performance indicators.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is preferable but not mandatory. A strong understanding of the Middle East market and cultural sensibility for working in different environments are key competencies. The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, coupled with a collaborative and result-oriented mindset, is essential.
