The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Governance Officer to join our Compliance Department on a full-time basis. This role is crucial for strengthening our corporate governance framework and ensuring continuous adherence to the governance requirements set by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Core Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Company's corporate governance framework.
• Review and maintain governance policies, Board and Committee Charters, and related governance documents.
• Monitor the implementation of Board and Committee resolutions and follow up with relevant business units.
• Support governance assessments and continuous improvement initiatives across the Company.

Regulatory Compliance and Oversight

• Ensure compliance with SAMA governance requirements and internal governance policies.
• Coordinate governance-related reports, regulatory submissions, and management updates.
• Monitor conflict of interest disclosures, related-party transactions, and governance registers.
• Review and monitor the Delegation of Authority (DOA) framework and governance controls.
• Follow up on governance observations raised by Internal Audit, External Audit, and SAMA, and monitor corrective actions until closure.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in a governance or compliance-related role. This position is suitable for individuals looking to develop their expertise in corporate governance within the financial sector.
