The Role: Protection Testing Engineer

Siemens is seeking a Protection Testing Engineer to join the Smart Infrastructure Customer Service division in Jeddah, Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves contributing to solutions that enhance infrastructure and support a smarter future.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Siemens SIPROTEC 5 & 4 and Reyrolle protection relays.
• Handle ABB, GE, and SEL protection relays.
• Test and maintain medium voltage switchgear, including CT, VT, CR tests, and CB timing.
• Test and maintain low voltage switchgear, including CT, VT, and CR tests.
• Perform advanced protection function testing, such as busbar, distance, and line/transformer differential.
• Troubleshoot HV, MV, and LV electrical systems.
• Analyze faults and identify root causes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in protection relay systems and switchgear testing.
• Ability to perform advanced protection function testing and fault analysis.
