The Role: Social Media & Content Specialist

We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media & Content Specialist to support the day-to-day development and execution of A-Z Experience’s social media and content. This full-time role involves content research, creative idea development, copywriting, planning, publishing, community coordination, basic photo and video capture, simple editing, and performance reporting. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Research audience behavior, platform developments, competitors, cultural conversations, and relevant content trends.
• Translate research and observations into timely, creative, and relevant content ideas.
• Support the development of campaign themes, recurring content formats, and project-related storytelling.
• Maintain the detailed content calendar, publishing schedule, approval status, and asset requirements.
• Write captions, short-form copy, stories, and platform-specific content in the required tone.
• Adapt content appropriately for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other assigned channels.
• Capture basic photo and video content using mobile devices or available equipment.
• Complete simple edits for posts, stories, reels, behind-the-scenes content, and rapid event coverage.
• Coordinate designed assets with the Graphic Design team.
• Coordinate professional photography, videography, and advanced editing requirements with the Content Creator or specialist suppliers.
• Schedule and publish approved content and confirm its correct appearance on every platform.
• Support live-event coverage and rapid content turnaround when required.
• Monitor comments, direct messages, and relevant mentions, routing responses according to approved guidelines.
• Collect platform data and prepare performance summaries, observations, and improvement recommendations.
• Maintain organized content assets, approval records, links, captions, and usage information.
• Respect client confidentiality, guest privacy, and content-usage approvals.

Role Scope and Expectations

The Social Media & Content Specialist is expected to produce normal day-to-day content and basic edits. Professional photography and videography, advanced production, complex editing, and high-end content creation remain the responsibility of the Content Creator or specialist production suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in social media and content development.
• Understanding of social platforms, current content formats, and audience behavior.
• Ability to transform projects, people, and behind-the-scenes work into engaging digital content.
• Proficiency in copywriting for social media, maintaining the required brand voice in Arabic and English.
• Basic photo and video capture and simple editing skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail for content calendar management and asset organization.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role is defined by content ideas that are relevant, creative, and informed by research and trends. The content calendar must remain accurate and be delivered consistently, with approved content published correctly and on time. Basic photo and video content should be suitable for normal day-to-day social media use, and live-event content captured and published efficiently. Copy must reflect the required brand voice in both Arabic and English. Performance reports should lead to practical content improvements, and assets, approvals, and publishing records must remain organized.
