About the Waiter / Waitress Role at Rotana Hotels

Rotana Hotels is seeking dedicated Food & Beverage professionals to join our team as a Waiter / Waitress. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional service and enhancing the guest dining experience.

Role Purpose and Contribution

As a Waiter / Waitress, you will be responsible for providing professional and personalized service to guests, ensuring each restaurant visit is a memorable dining experience. This role is central to maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction within our Food & Beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary tasks for food and beverage service in accordance with hotel performance standards.
• Greet and seat customers, providing professional, discreet, and personalized service.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the assigned outlet's food and beverage menu to assist and advise guests effectively.
• Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages being served.
• Practice good customer relations and address customer complaints or queries satisfactorily.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards within the outlet and ensure the upkeep of all service equipment.
• Manage all service preparations before, during, and after service, including mis-en-place and mis-en-scene.
• Ensure minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage of resources.
• Actively utilize up-selling techniques to enhance guest experiences and contribute to revenue growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or degree in hospitality, or vocational training in food & beverage is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a high-volume restaurant environment.
