Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Customs Processes: Oversee all aspects of customs brokerage and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Documentation Handling: Prepare and review import and export documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline operations and resolve any issues related to customs clearance.
- Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with customs authorities to facilitate timely clearance of shipments.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any customs-related issues that may arise during the clearance process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in Customs Brokerage and Import/Export processes, including experience in maritime ports.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of customs regulations and requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications or coursework in customs brokerage are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
