Service Advisor

About the Role

Haji Husein Alireza & Co. Ltd. is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team. This full-time position involves serving as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and efficient service experience from vehicle reception to release. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive customers and their vehicles in a professional manner.
• Open job cards with clear and detailed customer concerns.
• Raise vehicle job cards for each service, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and customer records are maintained.
• Liaise effectively with customer booking, workshop loading, and parts operations.
• Notify customers of any problems or additional work required, gain authorization to proceed, and keep them informed of progress.
• Keep customers fully and regularly informed of changes to costs and expected completion times/dates.
• Promote other services and products to customers as appropriate.
• Receive completed job cards and vehicle invoices, notify customers of completion and costs, and arrange vehicle movement.
• Meet customers to explain work done and invoice details, ensuring payment is made before vehicle release.
• Handle all customer complaints speedily and effectively, escalating unresolved issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure all departmental administration is handled promptly and correctly.

Administrative Guidelines

• Manage work in progress, ensuring no item is over one month old without acceptable explanation.
• Adhere to cash debt policies, prohibiting unauthorized credit facilities.
• Release vehicles only with prior authority from the Reception or Service Manager.
• Maintain accurate records and vehicle release forms.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a similar service advisor role or related customer service position within the automotive industry.
