SANS is seeking a CNS Infrastructure Section Head to join its team in a full-time capacity. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the management of critical infrastructure platforms that support safe air navigation operations.

Role Overview and Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the provision, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of the organization's CNS (Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance) infrastructure platforms. The Section Head will ensure the establishment and maintenance of a secure, resilient, and high-availability environment essential for CNS systems.

This role is fundamental to supporting safe air navigation operations by guaranteeing the reliability and performance of the underlying infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the provision, implementation, and integration of CNS infrastructure platforms.
• Oversee the lifecycle management of all CNS infrastructure components.
• Ensure the CNS infrastructure environment maintains high levels of security, resilience, and availability.
• Support CNS systems effectively to facilitate safe air navigation operations.
• Manage the delivery of CNS infrastructure solutions in alignment with organizational objectives.

Compliance and Standards Adherence

A core function of this role is to ensure that all CNS infrastructure solutions are delivered and managed in strict compliance with established standards. This includes adherence to approved architecture standards, cybersecurity requirements, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

The Section Head will operate within defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), agreed budgets, and adopted organizational policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity and efficiency.
