Job Summary

The Carpenter is responsible for executing carpentry, repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across the hotel premises. This full-time role ensures that all wooden elements, including furniture, doors, fixtures, and fittings, meet high standards of quality, safety, and appearance, thereby supporting hotel operations and enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs, maintenance, installation, and modification works throughout the hotel.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, frames, cabinets, furniture, shelving, partitions, and other wooden fixtures.
• Inspect furniture, fixtures, and wooden installations to identify damage, defects, or maintenance requirements.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules and work orders.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house areas.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, install, and finish wood and other materials as per specifications.
• Repair and restore furniture and decorative wooden elements while adhering to hotel quality and appearance standards.
• Install and adjust doors, hinges, locks, handles, cabinets, shelving, and related fittings.
• Read and follow drawings, measurements, technical instructions, and work specifications when required.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensure all completed work complies with hotel quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Monitor carpentry materials and spare parts, reporting replenishment needs as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repair activities.
• Coordinate with other Engineering team members and hotel departments during maintenance work.
• Support hotel projects, renovations, installations, and operational requirements as needed.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and fire prevention procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering management.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, supporting the operations of FAENA The Red Sea. The role involves working within a hotel environment, collaborating with various departments to maintain high operational standards.
